Windham Area Interfaith Ministry (WAIM)
The Windham Area Interfaith Ministry (WAIM) uplifts and unites our community by providing caring service and resources to meet our neighbor’s needs with dignity and respect. We serve the twelve surrounding towns of Windham/Willimantic with free clothing, household items, furniture, career clothes bank and emergency financial assistance to families and individuals. WAIM also provides short term case management, referral services, an adult mentoring program, a community garden and a number of seasonal programs to help clients make ends meet. Partners in Independence Program – adult mentoring program matching adult mentors with adult learning partners (mentees). Moving individuals toward self-sufficiency.
