ASHFORD FOOD PANTRY – PROGRAM

Description: Food Pantry offers emergency food on a one time per month basis to individuals and families living in Ashford who meet the income guidelines.

Food distribution is first Friday of each month at 4pm.

Time: Emergency food (1 – 3 day supply) for Ashford Chaplin, Eastford, and Willington individuals and families on a once a month basis (4th Friday of the

month 7-9am).

Description: 3-day emergency food program for individuals and families in need on a one time per month basis. The pantry is open 3rd M: 10am-12 noon for residents of Canterbury.

PROJECT PIN – PROGRAM

SAINT MARY’S CHURCH FOOD PANTRY – PROGRAM

 Description: Food distributed twice a month to individuals and families referred by TVCCA. Individuals or families receive a one week (21 meals) supply of food selected by the client (limited to two times/month). The distribution of food occurs on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month, 10-11am and 3-4pm.

 TEEG – THOMPSON ECUMENICAL EMPOWERMENT GROUP

 Description: The food pantry offers food to any community member in an emergency. The monthly distribution program helps individuals and families stretch limited dollars to pay monthly bills and purchase perishable food, while relying on TEEG for staple food items. Hours:

M: 5-8pm

T: 9-11am (distribution for the Commodity Supplemental Feeding Program or CSFP only)

W: 1:30-3:30pm

F: 1:30-3pm

Appointments are requested, although the pantry distributes food on an emergency basis during business hours.

COVENANT SOUP KITCHEN

 Description: Meals include a light breakfast 9:00-11am Monday through Saturday, lunch from 12-1pm Monday through Saturday, and an evening meal 5:30-6pm Friday. On Sundays, a bagged to go lunch is served from 11:30am-12noon, as well as breakfast at 9am on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays of the month.
